Critically acclaimed newcomer Victor Wembanyama stunned in an all-black suit.
San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama made an impressive debut against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night in an all-black ensemble.

The first overall pick in this year’s draft wore a black hoodie, sweatpants and sneakers, black sunglasses and a black baseball cap.

At just 19 years old, Wimbanyama has already garnered a lot of attention before making his NBA debut. With his incredible combination of size and agility, many pundits and observers consider him a game-changer for the Spurs.

In the four preseason games he played in, the 7-foot-4 center gave a glimpse of what the entire NBA could expect from him. He averaged 19.25 points, 4.75 rebounds and 2.75 caps in 21 minutes on the court, helping the Spurs to a 3-2 preseason record.

Beyond the numbers, Spurs fans should expect „Wimby“ to start his era in San Antonio, and based on what he wore in his debut, he’ll bring more exciting attire to the table.

Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich is still working on how to best utilize Wimbledon’s talent!

San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has seen what their prized rookie Victor Wimbanyama can bring to the table, but admits that they are still looking for the right way to better utilize the player’s immense talent.

The longtime Spurs head coach said in preseason that he has high hopes for the young French player and that the coaching staff should find a way to improve that.

The five-time NBA champion coach said:

„We’re still trying to figure out whether he should be on the outside or inside and in what situations we can maximize his ability. I’m not sure he’s sure, but it’s going to be a little bit of both. He’s a smart guy, so even if I don’t get it, he’ll get it.“

Tottenham’s upcoming fixtures

After Wednesday’s season opener against the Dallas Mavericks, the Spurs will host the Houston Rockets on Oct. 27 before a three-game road trip against the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 29 and back-to-back games against Phoenix Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 for Sun.
