While McHale’s birthday is celebrated on Dec. 19, the day has another significance for Celtics fans – a reminder of the team’s rich history and its connection to other notable players. Tom Gugliotta, another power forward born on this day, added a new chapter to the team’s legacy when he briefly donned a Celtics uniform in 2004.
